Need help on picking a cat tree?
Hey everyone.
I’m about to buy a cat tree from www.armarkat.com and need some help deciding. I have two Bengal kittens. One is a year old and the other is 9 months. They are very energetic and my older cat keeps climbing up everything in my house, including the blinds on my windows, so I think a cat tree would be a good idea. lol
I’m torn between two and I can’t choose.

http://www.armarkat.com/classic-cat-tree/classic-cat-tree-b7801/prod_28.html I’m leaning more towards this one. It’s taller and has multiple platforms for the to jump up on and climb.
So which one would you choose for two very energetic cats? Thanks in advance!
They don’t charge for shipping.

I’d go with the second if I were you, since they both have similar features, and I like to get the cheaper of two things.

I don’t think my cats (3) would like the hammock. The second one looks nice. If you have used a hammock on something else, and they get in it, then that one would be ok, otherwise, I’d pick #2.

They both are nice. I think the second one also.

The first one.

I would go for the 2nd one because I too have an Armarkat cat tree with a hammock/basket type of thing and they never use it. So get the 2nd one. Armarkat trees are good and you can get excellent deals on e bay. I paid $1.00 for mine and paid $53.00 for the shipping. So I got a 6 foot cat tree for $54.00, unheard of.

You said they liked to climb, so I would definitely go for the taller one. Besides, not a lot of cats like hammocks If they’re energetic then they won’t want to crash in a hammock, it takes a very laid back cat to do that. so the bigger one for sure.

Yeah, I’d also say the second one. Will they charge you for shipping?

I’d go with the second one. My cat tree has a hammock on it and my cat has never used it [although it has become quite useful to keep cat toys in]. I also found that the hammocks are not really that big, my cat is a persian and even if she wanted to would not fit in the hammock.
