My cat puts her paws behind her head when she lays back like she is lounging or something. What does it mean?

She mostly does it when she is playing with me dogs or laying in my arms.I think it is a good sign. Sometimes she scratches at her chin while holding her head this way, but not more than one or two swipes so I don’t think its an itch… Imagine a cat lounging on a hammock with her paws behind her head…
Also, she has done the rolling on her back/side to show me her belly, but this is new lol.

It means that she is comfortable with you. Cats do not typically lay with their abdomens exposed unless they are pretty comfortable in their surroundings. It is a very vulnerable position.

It is a sign she is happy and that she trusts you and the dogs completely. My Himalayan I had for 17 years did that in my lap constantly- back feet were beside my hips and head was hanging down off my knees and those front legs would be stretched as far towards the floor as possible. It made for easy combing of the “armpits” and his belly. He would do it anytime he laid in my lap or when I rubbed his belly. Not all cats like that or trust their owners that much, so you are very blessed.

Generally the weirder the position the cat is in the more deeply relaxed they are.
This means trust and comfort. The things that matter most to cats along with good snacks and fun things to do.
If you can pet them while they are in that position and they stay that way they really trust you a lot.
